Faith & reflection
Rooted in love, one ordinary day at a time
A reflection on Ephesians 3:17 and the quiet ways faith takes shape in daily life.
By The Rooted Collective
In Ephesians 3:17, Paul prays that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith and that we may be rooted and grounded in love. It is an invitation to consider what nourishes us beneath the surface of our days.
Notice what you are tending
Our attention often goes to what is urgent. A rooted life also makes room for what is enduring: prayer, truth, kindness, and the relationships entrusted to our care.
Ask yourself: Where could I make a little more room for love today? The answer may be as ordinary as listening carefully, offering an apology, or responding with patience.
Let reflection become practice
Read Ephesians 3:14–19 slowly in your Bible. Notice a word or phrase that invites you to pause. Bring it into prayer, then choose one small act of love to carry into the day.
A prayer for the journey
Lord Jesus, deepen our roots in Your love. Give us patience for growth, courage to act with kindness, and hearts attentive to Your presence. Amen.
